How to read two charts together
Compatibility is not one measurement. It is four layers, and each answers a different question. Read them in this order and a relationship stops being a mood and starts being a mechanism you can point at.
Before anything else, each of you carries a different kind of energy and a different way of starting things. Most of what a couple reads as effort or laziness is two types moving at their own correct speed. The five types.

What compatibility means in Human Design
There is no ranked list of good and bad matches, and anything that hands you one is a horoscope wearing a bodygraph. What two charts give you is mechanics: where the designs meet, what happens at each meeting point, and which of your recurring problems are not personal at all.
Every combination has an easy side and a demanding side. A pairing that flows can go unexamined for years. One that grates can be the one that changes you. The chart describes the terrain, never the outcome.
Defined centers are consistent. Open centers take their reading from whoever is closest. Half of what you have been calling chemistry is one person's definition landing in the other person's openness.
The frustration, bitterness, anger and disappointment each type falls into are not caused by the other person. They are what happens when someone is off their own strategy, and a relationship is where it surfaces first.
Nothing in a chart decides anything for you. What it removes is the guessing. Once you can name what is happening between two designs, most of the blame in a relationship has nowhere left to sit.
What each type brings to a connection
Type is the fastest read on any relationship. It will not tell you everything, and it tells you more in five minutes than most of what gets written about compatibility.
The Generator
A Generator's defined Sacral is the most reliable energy in any room, and in a relationship it usually means they carry the day to day without especially noticing they are doing it. That works, for as long as the yes was a real one.
The trouble is the yeses that were never theirs. A Generator who agreed to a house, a schedule or a social life out of duty rather than response will keep showing up and slowly stop being present, and neither person will be able to name the week it changed.
Frustration is the tell, and it is almost never about the other person. It is the sound of energy spent on something the body never answered yes to.
The Manifesting Generator
The same Sacral engine, running faster and comfortable skipping steps. In a pair the Manifesting Generator is usually two things ahead, and what reads as impatience is a body that has already found the shortcut.
The friction is rarely about commitment. It is about pace, and about the informing step that responding alone does not cover. Told after the fact, a partner feels left behind. Told first, the same speed feels like being brought along.
Frustration and anger arriving together. If both are present, look at what got started without a word rather than at how fast it was finished.
The Manifestor
Manifestors are built to start without waiting to be asked, and in a relationship that is the most misread thing in their design. The impulse to move is not a verdict on the other person. It is how the energy is wired.
Informing before acting is the whole difference. It costs one sentence. A partner who is told is a partner; a partner who finds out afterwards is an obstacle. Most Manifestors stopped informing years ago, because the first few times they did it, someone used it to stop them.

Can I pair a parent and a child?
Yes, and it is written as that relationship rather than as a couple. Both people need a reading on the account, and when one of them is a child the pairing takes a different shape: it is written to the parent, it covers how the two designs meet in daily life, conflict and conditioning, and it carries none of the intimacy sections a partnership reading has. Do you do whole-family readings?
We read families pair by pair, a parent and a child, two siblings, because that is where the real dynamics live. Each pair gets its own full Compatibility reading.
What are electromagnetic channels?

What do I need to start?
Two readings on your account. If you only have your own so far, add a second from your dashboard using their birth date, time and city, and the pairing option opens.
What if something does not match our charts?
If anything in your reading does not match your charts, we will correct it. Both charts come from the same calculation engine as every individual reading, and the pairing is checked against them before it reaches you.
What if we do not know their exact birth time?
The chart is calculated from the birth time you enter, so an approximate time gives an approximate chart. If you are not certain, the birth certificate is worth finding before you run the pairing. If anything in the finished reading does not match your charts, tell us and we will correct it.
How is this different from a free compatibility chart?
